Just make sure it's 502 spec and full synthetic. You're looking at something like 0W-40 or 5W-40. Liqui Moly and Mobil 1 Euro are both used by a lot of GTI drivers. Motul is good too but it's pretty expensive. Personally, I buy Mobil-1 0W-40 European Formula whenever Walmart is having a sale.Golf mk7 GTI. Mar 31, 2017. #3. Unfortunately it's a part of the low pressure fuel pump, so it's not replaceable. In fact it is replaceable only if you're able to find the filter alone to buy it and have the knowledge and patience to remove, turn the pump to pieces and rebuild it. As it is in any modern car, VW wants us to buy the whole fuel
Nov 24, 2016. #7. vwman said: The diesel fuel filter change interval at 90k kms is for ' the newer TDIs ' (Golf Mk7 2013> ) as the OP is runninig diesel conforming to EN 590. Changing fluids / filters, earlier than VW recommend, is of course a personal choice. For 2015 US model 2.0L diesels, the fuel filter interval is 20K miles, like I said.
Checked the new oil filter and so far so good. Unfortunately the garbage men already came so my old filter was long gone. Tried a magnet in the old oil and didn’t turn anything up. Will do an oil change in 1,000 miles and inspect. No knocking or otherwise strange behavior. VW states for warranty, oil and filter should be changed every 10,000 miles. This is based upon using full synthetic oil which is designed to last 10,000 to 12,500 miless. If for any reason, you can't rate my answer OKAY, GOOD, or EXCELLENT/3 STARS OR HIGHER today. Please reply and let me know why, so I can help more/better. Remember it's mandatory the oil is filtered permanently, as any oil pollution would cause increased wear on the bearings. The oil/coolant heat exchanger helps raising oil temp quicker after any cold start. Billet oil filter housings look nice. Nice to have but I don't think they help cooling to a noticeable degree. 20l9.
